Water-Splashing Festival
1. It is a traditional festival for the Dai people in Yunnan Province.
泼水节是云南傣族东谈主民的传统节日。
2. It is held during the sixth month of the Dai calendar.
傣族东谈主民在傣族日期的六月份庆祝泼水节。
3. It lasts three or four days.
泼水节捏续三到四天。

the festival， the door of every house is decorated with multicolored pieces of
paper.

8. Water is a symbol of goodness and purity.
水是情切与皎洁的标记。
9. During
the festival， men and women gather in public squares， armed with buckets of
water or carrying water guns to wet each other in wishes for good luck and a
happy new year.
节日时期，男男女女在广场纠合，全副武装上一桶桶水或佩带水枪把互相弄湿，祝颂好运和惬心的新年。wet这里是动词用，to make something wet把……弄湿。
10. At night，
music accompanied by drumbeats echoes throughout the villages.
晚上，音乐伴跟着饱读声在通盘村子漂浮。
